This review about the Amrutha Lounge restaurant is by Fifi of London:
Life-giving food lives up to its name! Reluctantly agreed to give this new vegan restaurant a try as it’s local and boy am I glad we did. We are three committed carnivores but we didn’t miss meat or fish one bit! The Buddha selection was absolutely delicious, especially the pakora and Thai green curry.
Arvin, the owner, is so enthusiastic and passionate, it was a joy to listen to him.
My friends are tea lovers and they loved the Amrutha own blend whereas I was happy to keep drinking my own corkage-free wine!
We will definitely be back – next time dragging the husbands to show them how versatile vegan food can be!

The following review comes from Ali, where she talks about her eating experience at London’s Barge East:
Excellent Quirky Birthday Venue! I stumbled upon Barge East whilst researching locations to host my partner’s surprise birthday meal and I’m so glad I did! The whole evening worked out so well (not including my terrible attempts at foxing the birthday boy) – we were a group of 26 so Barge East had concocted us a set menu I received a week prior. They managed to accommodate vegan, vegetarian and omnivores with creative and very tasty dishes from excellent ingredients that everyone positively commented on. The dishes were artfully presented and just the right size in a 3-course menu to satisfy. The staff were super helpful, attentive and flexible and despite being a large group we felt the service was just right. I don’t know how they accommodate all their diners in such a small space but by some miracle (and probably a lot of sweating) they do so really very well. Everyone was suitably impressed and expressed wishes to return individually and so would I. Excellent value all round and a great balance of all the good stuff -well done!

Safirah of London gives their thoughts and experience at eating at Dobar in North London:
Business or pleasure ? Dobar the breakfast restaurant is the place to visit. What a delicious way to start your day. Choices are endless, the food is delish and the service is fantastic. Reasonable in price but generous on portion. Situated on Green Lanes outside Manor House Tube Station – an absolute gem introduced by my daughter. My weekend breakfast meetings are sorted!

Belinder of London passes on her views about eating at the Chojo restaurant in London:
Very different! worth a visit. We went for a family birthday. As a group of 10 we had a long table. We ate about 5 different dishes and all were fantastic, and in the end we reordered some. My favourites were the salmon and the chicken, but all in all the dishes were all excellent. loved the fact there was no set deal.
Nice staff and good service. Just don’t know how i feel about the dog in the playpen on the side.
I think this restaurant was fairly pricey at £45pp, considering the ambience is very casual and we only had one bottle of wine and tap water.

Shenton talks about their eating experience at Core by Clare Smyth:
WHAT AN AMAZING RESTAURANT! I booked for a Christmas gift that also turned into a celebration of promotion lunch, we had the Core Classic and sat At The Chefs Table. My friend was congratulated endless times which was just so lovely The food is incredible, each course just got better and better. Front of house were immaculate, professional but still so friendly and clearly nothing is too much trouble! Water is topped up, cutlery changed and you don’t even realise. The chefs were mesmerising to watch and clearly very very talented. We can’t wait to come again for my birthday. And I’d highly recommend to anyone who appreciates good food.

Fabulous dinner! We decided to try Taste of Nawab as fairly local to us & had read some amazing reviews… we were not disappointed. MsMagezi of London has this to say about the Pizza Pickup:
Best pizza in London! We absolutely love this place. Roman pizza (skinny crispy base) and gorgeous toppings. Staff are lovely too. It’s our go to pizza place and better than any of the many alternatives locally. Love it.

Monsieur Le Duck
Style: French, Southwestern, European
4 Brushfield Street, London E1 6AN
This particular review about London’s Monsieur Le Duck comes from Stephen:
Super….Food, Staff and Great location! Supper for Five. One was late but no problem. There is everything to like and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent food. I usually have Confit , three others did and they were v v happy, whereas i opted for the pan roasted Magret. Outof this world and so much so that come dessert i had to try the chargrilled Magret. The waiter explained i would have to be charged the full price….which was ok by me….and then he gave me the cheeseboard, first class and not fridge cold and bread and the duck butter. My group swooped, all happy after the Brulee which was the right temperature and declared themselves to be treated. Little attention to details and first class food. Must return. I wish you all the best and Thank you.
