15/17 Leman Street, Aldgate, London E1 8EN
This review about the Treves & Hyde restaurant in London, comes via Somnath from London:
Friendly and good food! The restaurant is located just a few meters from the East Aldgate underground station. It’s not very big and is cosy. The food and drinks are excellent and the duck terrine and beef bavette are very good. Nice place to relax and have a meal with friends and family.
Cafe de Provence
Style: Cafe, European, British
14 Drury Lane, Covent Garden, London WC2B 5RB
Bethan from Leeds passes on her thoughts about eating at the Cafe de Provence in London’s Covent Garden:
Lovely breakfast! We followed trip advisor advice in going here for a late breakfast after staying in the nearby Travelodge. The staff were very friendly and flexible with our slightly fussy requests! Our eggs royale were perfect and accompanied by lovely freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee. It was great value and we were really pleased to have not tried to go into the centre of covent garden for breakfast and missed this gem. We couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast to finish off our London trip and highly recommend this lovely little cafe.

The wine was great and the atmosphre was exactly what we were looking for on mothers day. The food was perfect, i had the pork belly and i cant rate this dish enough was the best i have eaten in a long time!! We had lots of small plates the octopus was also a table favourite. Shout out to the cute ginger chef (sorry we didnt catch his name) he seemed to make everyone laugh and already looking forward to come back and eat more food. Cant recomend this place enough, thanks for making mothers day special we will be back very soon.
The Lounge Cafe
Style: British, Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Options
Welford Centre 113 Chalkhill Road, The Welford Centre, London HA9 9FX
This review about The Lounge Cafe come by the courtesy of Lorraine:
Hidden Gem! This place certainly lives up to the hype. I opted for the full English. The food came piping hot and, having taken the trouble to ask how I liked my eggs, they were cooked to my specification. The sausages were very flavoursome and the fresh bread was toasted with just the right amount of butter. This generous portion was washed down with a large cup of English tea.
Every single member of staff were hospitable, attentive and always smiling.
A nice, relaxed atmosphere adds to the experience. Just lovely!
Thank you ladies!

Victoria from Newport passes on her thoughts about eating at the Midpoint Restaurant in Greenwich, London:
Fantastic food and great service! The food was out of this world! Really enjoyed the liver starter. For a main course we tried the Sarma Lamb Beyti which was amazing. Great service too. Highly recommended.
The Clink Restaurant

A little way from home but Chris from North Yorkshire, gives these few words about his eating experience at The Clink Restaurant:
A bit pricey, but worth the meals! I went there with my friends since we had a birthday party. The restaurant was cozy and the staff was so friendly. We felt very welcomed and the food was amazing. Will come back when we have time together.
Oliveira Organic Vegetarian Kitchen
Style: International, European, Contemporary
469 Upper Richmond Road West, London SW14 7PU
This review about the Oliveira Organic Vegetarian Kitchen comes via Noah from Bournemouth, where he goes on to say:
A beautiful restaurant with outstanding food! Everything about this place is worthy of praise. Their commitment to creating delicious, filling vegetarian and vegan meals that aren’t just imitations of meat dishes are truly wonderful. The atmosphere is incredibly homely and welcoming, with a fantastic floor and kitchen staff that are clearly invested and excited about the food they are serving. Any questions you have about the menu will be answered, including them bringing out the fresh ingredients to show you what you will be eating! Having visited with my partner many times we have tried many dishes and have never been let down, they are always unique and taste like things we have never ever tried before. My only advice is try to save some room for dessert because they are fantastic. So happy to have found a stellar vegetarian place that is not in the center of the city, or ridiculously over priced. Please give this place a try, they deserve your love!

Style: Italian, Bar, European
130 Boundary Road, London NW8 0RH
Fabrizio, an Italian I think, has this to say about London’s Morso restaurant:
Back to Heaven! After a month of “abstinence”,today I finally had lunch in my “fresh pasta paradise” …in London. Maltagliati Spicy Nduja… Wow! Better than the last time, Mr Morso did some magic on the recipe. Tiramisu’ like only mom can do, for a moment, while I was eating it, I imagined that it would come up on Mom in person from the kitchen, but she was at home, in Italy. So thank you for this triumph of flavors, that brings me home with the mind, just as usual …Wow!!!
The Golden Chippy
Style: Seafood, Fast food, British
62 Greenwich High Road, London SE10 8LF
The following review about The Golden Chippy comes from Tricia of Ballynahinch:
If only all fish and chips were like this! I was looking for something to eat in the Greenwich area and looked up TripAdvisor to see the reviews on restaurants. The reviews for this place were brilliant, so I thought I’d give it a try. I was slightly worried that I would be disappointed. How wrong I was! Best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted. Fantastic service and staff that actually seem to value their customers. Try it – you will not be disappointed!
Still not sure where to go and eat, there will be more to learn about London to come…
