Jess of London gives their view of Brixton’s Khan’s restaurant:
Amazing local Indian!! We have been enjoying Khans for the last 6 years both eating there and takeaways! We’ve often come with friends or family as the team are so friendly and it’s such great value for money particularly when you BYOB! Deliveries are always prompt and hot! It goes without saying that the food is delicious…we’ve never found a better Indian meal in London! Thanks guys!

The following review comes from Daniel of London, where he gives his opinion of the Naughty Piglets:
5*+ Food, let down by overly expensive wines. The food was simply superb – every dish was divine. Prepare yourself for a long wait to book a table and there’s a chance you’ll be sat on bar stools, but this wasn’t a problem in the slightest for us. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is that the wine list was far too overpriced – not everyone in London can justify spending £50 on a bottle of wine, including us. The cheapest option (which we weren’t embarrassed to opt for) was £30 and honestly, not worth even that. The vast majority of wines were £45+. Outside of this, a fantastic restaurant and we will certainly return.

This review about Brixton’s KataKata comes from Cillao:
Birthday Meal. Booked for a birthday meal with 5 friends at KataKata. Though it was a Saturday night, when we arrived we were the only customers there! Our friendly & smiley waiter gave us free choice of where we wanted to sit. We were provided with wonderful service by this particular staff member who was all on his own! He worked really hard to freshly prepare all of our meals & drinks. The food/drinks were absolutely delicious. Even when there was a problem with the bathroom light, he attempted to change the lightbulb & when this didn’t work, used his own phone as a torch to provide light! Also, upbeat played all evening music to keep everyone buoyant. Great hospitality & a lovely evening. Would definitely go back.
The Clink Restaurant
Style: European, British, Contemporary
Brixton Jebb Avenue, Brixton, London SW2 5XF
Emma of London gives her thoughts and experience at eating at The Clink Restaurant in Brixton:
Brilliant food, lovely guys, worth the wait. A friend and I have the privilege to go for dinner at The Clink this evening, and we had a fantastic time. The food was so tasty, with a decent amount of options for veggies – great news, considering the small menu. The drinks on offer are vast, and the environment is really plush and clean.
We were served by the lovely Sonny, who is an absolute testament to the great work of the charity. Sonny was kind, considerate, patient and attentive. He was open about his experience in the prison, and encouraged us to ask questions if we wanted to – crucially he never pushed, but was welcoming to any queries which we naturally had. He truly went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, and he made the evening for us. Every other server we saw was equally as courteous and friendly, but we have to say we’re biased in saying that we definitely lucked out with getting Sonny. I think the most impressive thing was how reflective he was when speaking about his own experiences, and it was clear The Clink had had a really positive influence on him.
The Clink is an absolute treat of an experience, and I’d recommend it for anyone wanting good food, great atmosphere, and genuine and interesting conversation with a fellow human, regardless of their background or your assumptions. It was humbling, and I’m grateful for the experience.

This review about Brixton’s Curry Paradise comes from Kevin of London:
Very nice restaurant. Curry Paradise is great if you’re in the area. It’s a small, cosy restaurant and staff are super friendly and helpful. My one criticism is that some of the curries are very bland; they could really do with spicing up.
The Blues Kitchen – Brixton
Style: American, Southwestern, Bar
40 Acre Lane, Brixton, London SW2 5SP
George of London passes on his eating experience at Brixton’s The Blue Kitchen:
Epic food – great service! I’ll order half next time…The gorgeously designed American restaurant has sensational food (albeit pretty heavy duty..) We would have genuinely ordered half of what we had (although the left overs make for a great lunch today 🙂 The service couldn’t have been better with the lovely Monica bringing a huge smile and a cheery vibe.

Coldharbour Lane, Brixton Village Market, London SW9 8PR
For something a little different. This review comes from Bevis of Nottingham:
A terrific suprise! Not much to look at, and the guy that served us was a bit of a state, but oh my, the food… *drooling emoji*. A perfectly cooked and prepared galete, you don’t often find vegan food this satisfying. High end cooking in a shabby market unit, there’s clearly some very talented chefs tucked away in there!
Honest Burgers – Brixton
Style: Fast food, American, British
12 First Avenue, Brixton Village, London SW9 8PR
Luana gives her thoughts abut eating at Brixton’s Honest Burger:
Amazing gluten free burgers and onion rings! WOW… I’ve discovered no long ago that I’m celiac so I had to stop eating all those things I used to love, as onion rings, but now that I know Honest Burger is located close my house I will come here often to enjoy their gluten free option. AMAZING ONION RINGS and they are HUGE. I had a burger MR with bacon extra crispy and it was all as I asked for. For that I have to thank the chef Flori to have done such amazing job and Julia to accommodate all my pickie requests and always been so smiley. I’ll definitely recommend this places to celiac and not.

Steve of Amersham passes on his thoughts about his experience at eating at Wahacca Brixton:
Great meal, buzzing atmosphere and good service! We visited on a busy Saturday evening, our table was reserved as expected and in a good location.
The restaurant had a great vibe and positive atmosphere. The service was just as it needed to be, not pushy but attentive enough to ensure we were not waiting for anything. As we hadn’t eaten in Wahaca before we were guided through the menu and how it worked, our drinks order taken and some Nacho’s ordered.
Our food arrived promptly and whilst not all together it wasn’t an issue, we had ordered several small plates and did share some between us. It was clearly freshly cooked and was very tasty, offering a selection of non spicy foods as well as the more traditional Mexican foods
Paying was a breeze, we settled our bill on the app which was quick and efficient
Will definitely be returning when we next have a chance
